Hello! My name is Jonathan Blount. After 8 years of experience in the Financial Services industry with leading national firms, in 2016 I transitioned to independent advising and manage my own firm, Blount Financial Stewards.
Before moving into Financial Planning, my background involved serving as a Worship Pastor in churches or para-church ministries, where Worship Leading, Theology, and Music were (and still are!) my passions. My approach to Financial Planning is very similar to time I've spent with people in ministry, in that deep relationships are the basis for sound financial advice and decisions. These relationships help me center on client goals for their financial future.
To better aid in the planning process, I hold the A.A.M.S.® designation from the College For Financial Planning, creators of the CFP® designation. I hold myself to a fiduciary stantdard with advisory clients as a Wealth Advisor, striving to give investment advice with only your best interests in mind.

Michelle L. Blount MS
Michelle and Jonathan have been married since 2002. Prior to that, Michelle earned her Masters of Science degree in Psychometrics from the University of Louisiana in Monroe. She currently teaches full-time on the campus of LA Tech University at the A.E. Phillips Lab School. Her part-time role in the practice is to keep Jonathan organized and manage administrative tasks, allowing us to exceed client expectations.
